Sheffield Eagles v Toulouse Olympique
On Saturday 17th June the Sheffield Eagles played their next game of the 2023 season, away to Toulouse Olympique
The Eagles have already played Toulouse once this season, a home game that the Eagles worn, so we look back to the second time that the teams played each other.
The seond game against each other
Sheffield Eagles and Toulouse Olympique played each other for the second time on 21st March 2009. Having faced each other two weeks before in Sheffield in the Challenge Cup. The Eagles followed up that win with an 18-12 win away in France in the league in front of a crowd of 1,923.
Try scorers that day were Ashley Thackeray and Mitch Stringer with four goals from Johnny Woodcock and one from Brendon Lindsay.
