1990-1991
An uncompromising prop forward who made ground every time he got the ball. Loved by the fans, who couldn't wait to see him attack the opposition's line.
Hughie was a stalwart of the side that season playing in every game. Having only just survived their first season in the First Division the second season was equally challenging for the Sheffield. Watch him in the game against Rochdale Hornets, at Rochdale, which was a rare 24-20 win before being relegated at the end of the season.
1991-1992
A legend of the Don Valley era, who made the hooker position his own. A tackling machine, who never seemed to stop hunting and chasing the opposition.
Watch Mick score against Leeds - a game that lives long in the memories for those that were at Headingley. A 46 all draw, snatched from a loss in the dying moments of the game with a try and conversion from Mark Aston.
1992-1993
A record signing for the Club at the time. He made the loose forward position his own, never taking a backward step with his distinctive running style.
Watch Faz score two tries against St Helens. Back in the First Division, the Eagles fought back from being 12-0 down to push St Helens hard at Knowsley Road, before losing 30-20.
1993-1994
The Club's first Lancastrian signing. A powerful winger or fullback with a distinctive run and turn of pace - "lovely, lovely Lynton" always gave 100%.
Watch Lynton score a try against Wakefield Trinity the start of a 5 game winning streak for the Eagles in the First Division, beating Wakefield 23-11 at Belle Vue.
1994-1995
One of the most respected forwards in the game. He led from the front with power and skill, creating opportunities from which games were won.
Watch Paul score a try in a hard fought 35-31 win for the Eagles against St Helens at Don Valley Stadium.
1995-1996
A Challenge Cup winner with the Eagles. An extremely strong back row forward who is still fondly remembered by fans for his commitment and attitude.
Watch Paul score two tries with him interviewed by Sky at the end of the game. After being behind at half time the Eagles stepped up a gear to win 34-8 against Workington at Don Valley in the last season of winter rugby.
1996
Considered one of the greatest players of the Super League era. At the heart of many of the biggest games for the Eagles, including winning at Wembley.
Watch Keith score a try in the Eagles second ever game in Super League and after the loss against Paris St Germain it was a 40-24 win for the Eagles against Bradford at Don Valley Stadium.
1997
The Fijian was a strong, exciting, pacey runner at either wing or fullback who was always liable to do the unexpected, much to the delight of fans.
Watch Sov playing at fullback as the Eagles just managed to hold on to beat Wigan 24-22 at Don Valley Stadium in 1997.
1998
The Eagles first signing from South Yorkshire. A tough forward, the backbone of the team for a decade and one of the all time Club characters.
Watch Dale score two tries in the first game of the 1998 season and the first game in the historic Challenge Cup run that saw the Eagles go on to beat Wigan at Wembley. This game saw the Eagles win 66-11.
1999
A powerful and clever hooker who never took a backward step. An integral part of the Eagles during the Super League years and a Challenge Cup winner.
Watch Johnny playing at hooker in what would turn out to be the Eagles last season before a merger with Huddersfield this was a rare win beating Leeds 22-16 at Don Valley Stadium.
