Keith Senior is a legend in the game of rugby league, not just for Sheffield Eagles. He signed for the Club’s Academy after playing for Huddersfield YMCA before quickly progressing into to the first team and making an impact at centre. He is considered by many to have been one of the greatest players of the Super League era. For Sheffield he was at the heart of many of the key games for Sheffield Eagles, particular the cup run leading up to the victory in the Challenge Cup in 1998 and the first game in Super League. Keith went on to play at international level for both England and Great Britain and had an illustrious career during the golden era of Leeds Rhinos. After his playing career ended Keith continued his involvement with The Club as an assistant coach working with Mark Aston.
